Happy Christmas from this Fife based CCTV Company

Wednesday, December 28th, 2011

The Fife based  CCTV Company Littlejohn Electrical is celebrating after another successful year of installing CCTV on construction sites in 2011 around Scotland. Their Meercam System has been used and helped increase this number of building and construction sites who have opted for our CCTV camera system and shown that this is a way of saving money over the project.

At the beginning of 2009 Littlejohn Electrical packaged the Meercam System into a rapid deployment service utilising the Battery operated System with a built in GPRS modem, thus ensuring that a temporary site could be secured immediately, without having to wait for a telephone line/broadband connection.

Littlejohn Electrical Hire Meercam to all types of construction companies, from small house builders to some of the UK National Companies. The temporary CCTV System which is available for immediate hire can protect building projects from less than £200 per week.

2012 is going to be an exciting year with a new PORTACAMS Comms Cabin system being worked on during the Holidays, this will be total wireless security using some new power source technology that has not been used to power CCTV Security, so we think it’s a first.

Charlie Littlejohn would like to thank all their customers for their continued business and hope they see the opportunity to save more money in next years projects using our cost saving services.

MeerCam Portable CCTV powered by Batteries

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

Again running all over Scotland using our Meercam Portable CCTV battery powered system to secure a construction site, This time we used a Blended Video System which is a combination of our Meercam solution and IP CCTV powered from the Compound mains power. This gives us the best of both worlds, CCTV video from inside the building using the Meercam system whilst the IP CCTV covers the front.

This Scottish Construction Company will save thousand of pounds over the next four months which is always good to hear in these trying times.

CCTV Hire Management Software investment

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011

Like many other contractors, Littlejohn Electrical developed a way of running the admin for the business using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word to the track CCTV hire records as well as those for their customers and their job details, with much information duplicated on a separate accounts package. The cross referencing between these  systems was a time consuming business.

Now this Scottish Company Littlejohn Electrical have just invested thousand of pounds in a new CCTV Hire Management Software to track all their assets which are out on construction sites. After a bumper year and an increase of CCTV Hire clients Littlejohn Electrical has decided  that managing invoicing and equipment need some sort of system to make life simpler.

“March will see the new CCTV Hire Management Software put in place and hopefully help us with our paperwork when it comes to Construction CCTV Hire, hopefully our clients will see the investment as a positive way forward”
