Scottish Security Company can deliver a cost effective Temporary CCTV

Monday, February 1st, 2010

This Scottish Security Company can deliver a cost effective Temporary CCTV security system and improves construction or property management using wireless battery operated sensors with built in cameras.

Our rapid deployable security cameras can be installed after the order being placed with us, no waiting for Phone lines from B.T. or generators for power. After the installation of the sensor activated CCTV has been completed and the system is armed the cameras will take a 10 second video clip of the intruder and send it over the mobile phone network. The Police give a higher priority to crimes-in-progress from N.S.I. Gold Approved Monitoring Station and get apprehensions instead of false alarms.

In addition to providing video proof of intrusion,  provides construction site management with video clips of all personnel entering the premises out of hours. This means you know when the system is switched on and off and you know when a subcontractor has actually been on site before they pay their invoice.

Features of the Wireless Temporary CCTV Solution:

  • No mains power – 2 year battery life.
  • Totally wireless, no cables, broadband or power
  • Instant installation the entire system.
  • Easy de-install and transfer to other construction sites.
  • Can be moved and rearranged on site as needs change.
  • PIR motion sensor detects intruder.

Battery operated 3G/GPRS Cameras for Construction Security

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009
We have been looking into a battery operated 3G wireless CCTV solution for one construction client who wants to shut down the generator at night and we think we have found it.

The Remote Event 3G CCTV Camera system has batteries in each device and all talk back to a central battery operated point this in turn connects to the 3G mobile phone network which sends Alerts to a Central Monitoring Station.

This is designed for a smaller construction sites, where a construction security guard would cost around £1000 per week, CCTV Rental Costs should be around £150-£200 per week for a 4 camera system fully monitored by a CCTV Centre.

Reading through the spec sheets shows the camera system has a battery life of 2 years and with no wires, self install might be possible.

Fuel costs are on the rise next year so this could be another saving by only running a generator for 40 hours instead of 168 hours, this could equate to a saving of 75% of your total genny fuel bill, also greener by cutting down on carbon emissions.

Testing will begin over the Christmas period with integration into our Remote Alert Viewing Platform early next year.

Along with this will be battery back up heating for drying rooms (we did think of this too)

Drop us an email if you are interested in saving money using our 3g cctv solutions instead of  your construction security.
